It Ends With Me
This work exists because silence has been mistaken for peace for far too long.
Across families, communities, and generations, harm has often been minimised, normalised, or hidden, not because people didn’t know, but because knowing felt too costly. The result has been a quiet transfer of shame onto those who were least able to carry it.
I believe awareness is the first act of healing.
Awareness interrupts the normalisation of harmful behaviour.Awareness shifts responsibility back where it belongs, away from the victim and onto the behaviour itself.Awareness creates space for truth to be named without blame or collapse.
My work is grounded in the understanding that many patterns we live with today did not begin with us. Silence, hyper-vigilance, people-pleasing, and self-abandonment are often inherited survival strategies, especially for women and girls raised in environments where speaking felt unsafe.
Through this lens, healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about remembering what was never wrong in the first place.
It Ends With Me was created as a conscious interruption, a choice to stop carrying what was never ours and to end the quiet protection of harmful systems.Daughters of the Shift is the space where women come together to name the truth, reclaim their voice, and shift what gets passed forward.
This work is not about blame, it is about responsibility.
It is about telling the truth without shame. It is about becoming aware without becoming overwhelmed. It is about choosing peace that does not require silence.
When awareness is present, cycles loosen. When truth is spoken, shame dissolves.
When one woman chooses differently, the ripple travels forward.
This work exists to support that moment of choice.
It ends with me.
